Problem: Facility with 4 cable extruders had zero visibility on how their machines were utilized or how they performed. Downtime, machine breakdown, machine performance could not be tracked real time. Utilization reports were manually recorded and reported monthly.

Solution: ArgusIOT connected all 4 extruders (32 total sensors) via a proprietary hardware gateway to track time series sensor data.

Using ArgusVue - a graphical interface dashboard allowed operators and supervisors to see in real time machine utilization and machine performance. Operators could do forensics by tracing product defects to specific time windows and sensor anomalies. Supervisors could create machine utilization and output reports in real time basis. ArgusIOT is actively creating prediction model to identify future machine breakdown so preventative work orders could be created preemptively.
